5 Unconventional Entertainment Options for Your Wedding

Does the thought of having a cookie cutter wedding make you hyperventilate? Do photo-booths and cheesy wedding DJ's make you want to elope instead? Well, in the words of the legend that is Prince... "I'm here to tell you, there's something else." Here are 5 unconventional entertainment options that will transport you and your guests to a "world of never-ending happiness":

1.) Murder Mystery Dinner

Murder Mystery Dinner

If you don't want to see your guests nodding off during the traditional dances then get them involved by turning your wedding into a fun, interactive murder mystery where every guest is a suspect! Start by sending out mysterious invites that include wording like "A Wedding to Die For" or "Till Death Do Us Part". This idea works best for smaller weddings of 75 or less.

2.) Game Show

Guests will remember this wedding long after the bouquet toss! Choose game shows like Wheel of Fortune, Family Feud or The Price is Right to get guests laughing all night. Prizes make the game more real, so be sure to include those.

3.) Carnival Games

Nothing brings joy to the faces of family and friends quite like a good 'ol fashioned Carnival! Break out the ring toss, duck hunt, and for the real adventurous types, the dunk tank, and have yourself a grand time.

4.) It's a Roast, Not a Toast!

Opt for a roasting of the groom (not the bride, we don't want her to cry on her big day) instead of traditional toasts. Get the crowd ready for the evening by swapping out boring toasts and instead putting the groom in the hot seat. Make sure you have a thick-skinned groom that can take a joke for this one.

5.) Piñata

Nothing says "Love" more than beating an inanimate object with a stick until it breaks open. Show your guests you are still young at heart by stringing up a pinata filled with all the goodies of childhood and giving everyone a turn to get to the "heart" of this fun packed day.
